No Surprise here!

You Belong in Winter

Quiet, calm, and totally at peace...

You're happy to be at home, wrapped in a blanket, completely snowed in

Whether you're lighting a fire or having a snowball fight, you always feel best in the winter.

I belong in summer, which wasn't surprising to me either.

Dude! I just read your sons blog. First, he's funny and I'm glad that you kinda get to hear his inner thoughts and stuff. But, man, what do you do with you and your husbands nicknames? Does he get in trouble for that, or is it just funny? it's that part of parenting that scares me most when I look into the future. You and your man seem to be doing really good though. :)

Jinny-Vince wondered the same thing. Naw. I don't mind the names. We are kind of bad for that and call each other things in fun. I have always called my kids "farts" and "turds" etc. Terms of Endearment. Their Dad and I call each other "Dork" and "Freak" all the time in a fun way, so we can't really say anything or get upset that they use those names too, ya know?? LOL

Yes, I will be interested to see his perspective on things:) Also anything to get him to write/read more! When he does journal entries for anything I assign him, I love to read them and just see his take on things. Love to have time with each kid, hear what is going on with them, what their plans are, what is important to them right now and such. This is another way to do that! He is a hoot, he really cracks my friends and I up often. He is known as the funny one in any group of his friends too. He is a great kid, but of course I am biased:) Teehee

Hey Bitter Snow Woman. Sheesh, and you come from Canada. Cheryl and I just finished the Indian name and the seasons. We were both fall people and she is a "Prohetess". Hmmmmmmmm, she does foretell when I am going to get a swat the side of the head for teasing too much.

I posted what Cheryl and I were on my blog. These are neat things. By the way, Cheryl wants to know what your first name is. She was looking at your blog with me and that was the only question she asked... what is her name? I told her it was "Dork" but she didn't buy that.:))

Tim-I am glad you enjoyed doing the quizzes. Yes, I come from Canada, so I ADORE Snow:) Miss it:( Bitter?? Yes, I think that can describe me at times. Kinda freaky how accurate it was:) LOL

Ah yes, my name is Laura. Although Jock has now changed it on his blog to "Psycho". I went with Lowa on the blog, because that is how a lot of my little foster brothers and sisters said my name when I was growing up in a housefull of kids. Isn't that cute?? Man, I loved those little kids. Sure do miss 'em:( But yeah, they called me "Lowa" and I thought it was cute!
