Clown again

Alright, I have been debating writing about this. I just can't resist, I have to share this story. Clown would be mortified if he knew, but he doesn't need to know, now does he?? *rubbing hands together gleefully*

Yesterday morning, after he and I took Brom for a long walk, I noticed that Clown was holding his neck funny as he had a few weeks ago when he suffered from his first attack of Torticollis and I panicked inwardly for a moment. It was so horrible and I didn't want him suffering again.

When I asked him what he was doing, he said there was a lump on his neck and when he held it that way, he could feel it more easily. I asked him if it hurt and he said a little bit. He looked scared and very worried. I was trying to tell him maybe it was a lymph node that was swelling and that his body was trying to fight something off (of course later when I took him to the Dr., this was confirmed) and it was ok for that to be that way sometimes.

He didn't look convinced.

He looked at me with tears in his eyes and whispered in a very trepidatious voice, "Do you think it's a testicle??"

Okay - we're all wondering - how did you answer?

And did you ask the Dr. if it was a testicle?

:-)

LM- I tried not to laugh and asked him if it FELT like it was a testicle. He thought about it and said yes, kind of. I said I could not even see it there on his neck and could barely feel it, I would think testicles were a bit bigger. He admitted this was true.

I didn't have the heart to mention it to the Dr. LOL She has known him since he was a baby and gets a kick out of him every time we go, but I knew he would be very upset with me if I mentioned it to her. She was looking at his foot also, while we had him in there. Apparently Princess had accidently done some damage to it some weeks ago during some rough play. The Doc acted shocked that his "Beloved Little Sister" would hurt him. He grunted and huffed and muttered, "She may be my little sister, but she is NOT beloved." Teehee Doc and I got a kick out of that:)

Happy- When I whispered the story to Cryptic later as he and I were in the kitchen together, he chuckled and mumbled to no one in particular, "Yes, Clown. You were actually born with three. Wait..no...you better check. You only have one now, because the other one miraculously migrated up to your neck! Riiiiight!"

Clown is hilarious with testicles though. I remember when he was a tiny little guy still in diapers. My kids have always talked and been very articulate very young. He was not even two and would explain to me how to wipe him. "Don't fo-get to get a poo off mine test-i-coes, ok Mummy?? Be show to get it AWWWWW off mine 'crotum!!!"

OMG that's too funny. Don't know where kids get thoughts like these, but they sure are entertaining!

Where on earth would he have gotten that idea?? How funny!

Vince- I know it!

Jude- They sure keep us hopping, eh??

L- Who knows! This kid is a HOOT!He has people in stitches all the time. Thus the name "Clown". I told him that I changed Cryptic's name since he asked. Clown wanted to know what he was called and his jaw dropped and he gasped when I told him he is "Clown". He is NOT happy. Now he wants to be known as "Klaus" from Series of Unfortunate Events fame. I told him I am sorry, I can't keep on changing the names. Besides, Clown suits him very well!

That is so funny, it reminded me of something Shorty said the other night. We were watching BenchWarmers and one of the charecters said that small penises were from steroids and the other person says that there must be steroids in Mac and Cheese. Shorty looks at me and says "If that is the case then I am going to stop eating mac and cheese" I just about died trying not to laugh out loud.

This is one of those things that will be brought up at his wedding.

Precious only begins to describe it!

Claire- Yes, he is our little entertainer, that is for sure! I will be curious to know what the chiro says. I have a friend who is one, I guess I could ask him.

Cindy- That is hilarious about what Shorty said! Kids are awesome! Great to hear from you!
