Beloved Nephew

My nephew has been visiting since Saturday night.

I don't know how often I have spoken of my nephew Scott before. I have mentioned G before?? Here and here?? Well, this is her older brother.

He was born when I was 17 years old. He was the first grandchild on both sides and has been dubbed "the golden boy". He is very easy going like his father (my oldest brother) and just a joy to have around. I would like to share some photos of his recent stay. He is still here, but leaves tomorrow *SNIFF*

Here he is when he first arrived. If you recall Cryptic's hair from a few months back, you can see "big" hair tends to run in the family. Although Scott's is a lot nicer than Cryptic's and mine. Scott's Dad, AND my second brother, the writer I have mentioned, both also have very curly thick hair when they let it grow out. Scott's Dad's has a lot of red in it, like mine. This is where we think Princess got her reddish hair.

Then, Princess, Scott and I cooperated...

And he looked like this for a few days...

And finally, the end result this afternoon...

Hopefully the photos will match up where they are supposed to go!

Hope all is going well for everyone.

Peace out!

Not an issue here. Never gets very cold. Now, once he is back in Saskatchewan (he is on his way there, stopping to see various Uncles on the way) then he will certainly need to cover the bald noggin for the next few months! Although his hair grows so fast and so thick, he will have a nice full head of hair within a few months. We shaved his head bald back in '02 when he lived in Costa Rica. That other photo of him that I showed on my blog from '03 was a year later! And look how much he had. Boy (or should I say man?? He IS 21 after all!) can grow some hair!!!

You guys are cruuuueeeelllll. Send a man to Canada with no hair to keep his noggin warm. Oh well, Canadians are not as intellectually superior as their American cousins.:) Actually I like the new look.

Holy goodness!!! That is quite a transformation!!!! I love it but agreed, he's gonna have to keep that sucker covered during the winter months!!!! Very cool!!

P.S. I e-mailed you about the December 16th Time Warp that you were stuck in on my site. I don't get why it happens but just add that www in front of the web address and you'll come up to speed!

Tim-It was his choice. He is the one who wanted to do it. I asked him if he had a toque and he said no, he was fine.

Dude, you DO NOT want to start an American/Canadian thing. TRUST ME:) LOL Look at the title of my blog and you can see pretty clearly what I think of this country:) Nothing personal!

Vince-Ya think?? Cool! They sure do adore their older cousin so I know they would love to hear that they look like him.

TKW-Hi! Welcome! Yes, he needs to cover it with something. It took him ALL DAY yesterday to get from here to Kelowna (five hours away) by bus because a main highway in BC was closed. The brother of mine that he was going to stay with e-mailed me a traffic cam photo of it...looked COLD and snowy there in them Rockies. Scott didn't even have a hood! YIPES! I am trying not to worry, but he is a grown man, I guess I need to let him be. *sigh*

Chas-Yes, I think he looks awesome no matter what of course:) He is such a great guy!
