Look what we got today!

This is what we did today:)

Looks like the kids will have at least a FIVE day break from school, not just four.

How fun! I walked around Capitol Hill in the snow and then went to Volunteer Park tonight and took some pics. And you look like you've lost weight, lady. Go, Curves!

Gah! Don't be sending any of that stuff my way! I'm not ready!

However, fun in the snow with your kids is always a treat.

L - your photos are GORGEOUS! OH MAN! I want to come down to Seattle and walk through the snow. Even though, as you said, it is going away quickly this morning. We were just out making a snowman. The kids are still out there of course. But I do want to bring the kids down during the holidays, to spend a day walking around. Take the Mono-rail to Westlake, etc. We rarely go down there. If we are ever in Seattle, it is just the Needle, maybe Key Arena or Safeco to take in a game or something on Ice, and of Course Seattle Centre or Pike Place or something. I don't think our kids have ever been really DOWNTOWN. I have to get my act together and take them down there! I may link your blog in a post I do today. I want others to enjoy those photos. They are spectacular!

Thanks on the weight thing, you are TOO SWEET! I lost ten lbs back in August and have not lost since. I am eating very badly, but I guess the Curves is keeping off anything else I would gain. Still have 25 lbs to go. If I would just eat like I know I should...

Happy - Dern tootin'! They are out there as I type:)

Jude - Thank the good Lord in heaven! Although, Clown is a little annoyed at God. Last night he was praising God, thanking Him over and over for this wonderful gift. Then this morning, he changed his tune and now accused God of taunting him with the snow, since it is melting! LOL Must be his new word!

L to D- Welcome! I will have to check out your blog. One of my nieces was considering going to school there in Dubai.

Vince- WHAT!?!? How can you not love snow?? And yes, how true. Stud took us all to "Deck the Halls" yesterday. It was coming down nicely when we went in the Theatre. Still falling in huge fluffy flakes when we came out. We got home and when I got out of the van, I started throwing snowballs at everyone and making snow angels on the lawn. That is when these shots were taken. I will post some more. Good times, good times. Great memories being made with the rugrats.

C- Yes, it is VERY wet. PERFECT for snowman and snow ball making. Packs nicely. It is just gorgeous! It was coming down in GINORMOUS flakes that were truly breath taking. I am still almost crying, just thinking of it. There is almost nothing I love more. I can understand how you like your snow being powdery. But your poor kids, eh??

You know how Jock feels about your rink. Every time he sees pics of your kids out on it, he seriously cries. So I don't let him look too often. Have a good time out there on it!!!

Can you believe that they close the schools just because of a little snow?! Having grown up where you did, I bet it makes you laugh when that happens.

Funny - with our snow this week, we just received an email throughout our school division reiterating our policy that we will NEVER close down the school because of weather. Quite different, eh?

:-)

LM- Oh yes, I laugh hysterically!

LOL Yes, that is funny AND different. Makes sense in a way, since six months of the year up there, there is snow and you have plows, etc etc. Fact of life. Here, not to much, but I still get a kick out of it:)
