My brother's new book

Well, my brother's new book will be available next month!!! I am SO excited:)

I spoke with him briefly on the phone today and he said it ships out from the publishers or printers or wherever they make books on the 18th of this month:) I can't wait to read it. He said he is not as excited about this one as he was about his first.

We all got free signed copies of his first one, but I am going to run out and buy a few of this next one, I think:) Help him make a living, ya know.

It is called "All This Town Remembers". It is already listed on Amazon. I should pre-order it:)

Also, if you type his name (Sean Johnston) into google, it will show a few interviews and write ups on him.

Can you tell I am proud???

That is all.

How cool! I'll have to check it out. Congrats to your bro on being an honest to goodness published author!

How neat. I will definitely check the book out and see what kind of an author he is.
A question: What kind of tattoo did you finally decide on?

Jude- Thanks :)

Sydwynd- Yup, I am dying to check it out:) We are sure proud! My one niece and my oldest son are also writers, but not published...yet:)

NTFrog-I forgot that you bought his other one. I could ask him to sign one for you and I can mail it. Since he actually knows you, I am sure he will write a little note to you in it:) I dunno if he is giving us a bunch like he did before. I am sure he will, but I still want to pay for some and help a struggling writer out, ya know??

Ramblin'- He is an interesting author, to say the least. His first book if full of foul language, which was shocking to me (yet amusing in a way) since he does not speak that way at all.

As far as a tattoo, I was just thinking of that the other day! I am DYING to get a new one, but it is my husband's turn next and he has not decided on one yet...*sigh* I think when I do it, I will do two. The one of my brother's name in our Mum's writing and a shamrock or something Irish on my hand.

Hey!
I have just reserved the book from the library, so that I can read it as soon as it comes in. I tried to reserve his short stories but couldn't find it, wonder if I can still buy it.
Email, got a new computer and I don't have your email address any more :)

Cindy- Ok, sounds good! I have been meaning to e-mail you, hope to get to that this weekend:)

L- Actually, he is not the only celebrity in the family :) LOL Our cousin was always really funny and one of our Aunts encouraged him try stand up. He used to babysit Alan Thicke's two boys and went on to be in many movies. I dunno if you have heard of him. His name is Rick Ducommun and if you google him you will find a lot about him. He was in the Burb's with Tom Hanks, some Scream movies and many others. He and Bruce Willis were good buds and he actually introduced Bruce and Demi to each other. I thought that was just a rumour going around in the family until I read an interview with Demi in a magazine once and she said that he is the one who introduced them! LOL One time Bruce and my cuz were driving around and my cuz mentioned it was his mother's (My mother's sister) birthday and Bruce called her up right then and there. She was SO THRILLED! LOL

Anyway, there you have it. I still remember him popping in to visit when we were kids and my brothers were allowed to stay up and visit while he told jokes and I had to go to bed. I was LIVID!
