Ok, I have been looking through photos of what the LR used to look like. I found some from four years ago with the boys wrestling in there. I know I have some with no kids in them, but I can't find them right now. You can look past the kids and see what the room used to look like.
As you can see, things are vastly different. We painted over the blue. We turned the Entertainment center on it's side so I could reach things and be able to dust. We ripped up the carpet and put in Brazilian Cherry Hardwoods. We got curtains, new light fixtures and totally different furniture.
Ok, I will do a bit more later. I don't want this stupid thing to freeze on me and all this be for nothing!

WOW!! What a gorgeous place you have, girl! I really like the changes you made, the colours and the furniture.... and those drapes!
That blue glider rocker you had? We had the same one!! LOL That got replaced with one of my leather chairs. Cool beans! More soon I hope? (I'm not greedy, lol)
Jude-Thanks! The drapes are thin, I really wanted heavy and thick but couldn't not afford what I really want. I am happy with these and got the cheapest ones I could find for $19.99 a panel at a store called Fred Meyer, which is kinda like Superstore. I will show you the dining area next. I got identical drapes, just in a DARK green. They usually look black in the photos, that is how dark they are. Then the walls in the dining area (it is not an actual room, so I don't call it the dining room) are close to the drapes in these photos. I will see if I can work on that right now:)
That is funny about the glider. I got that from my in-laws for Christmas the winter I was pregnant with Clown. I wanted something nice to nurse him in:) We still have it sitting around and use it to pile things on!
I have not heard the expression "cool beans" in a LONG TIME! Thanks for that:) teehee
